GIORGIO BEVERLY HILLS – DESIGNER HISTORY
In 1961, legendary retail entrepreneur, Fred Hayman, opened the doors to Giorgio Beverly Hills. The luxury retail shop was and continues to be located on the incomparable Rodeo Drive and over the years, the shop has become synonymous with the glamorous Hollywood lifestyle. With its unmistakable yellow and black striped awnings, it’s a routine stop for many celebrities, musicians and other entertainment industry icons.
In 1981, the Giorgio Beverly Hills brand launched its first fragrance called simply, Giorgio. It featured a lush, Oriental blend of exotic notes and it was ingeniously packaged in a yellow and white striped box that made it instantly recognizable as a part of the Giorgio Beverly Hills brand.

The initial Giorgio Beverly Hills fragrance proved so successful that subsequent releases were inevitable. In 1989, the brand launched Red for Women, followed in 1994 by Wings for Women. Giorgio Beverly Hills continued its string of aromatic hits with the release of Giorgio Aire in 1995, Ocean Dream and Red 2 in 1996, Giorgio Holiday in 1998, Giorgio G in 1999 and Giorgio Beverly Hills and So You in 2002.

To complement its successful women’s fragrance line, Giorgio Beverly Hills colognes were released for men, including Giorgio for Men in 1984, Red for Men in 1990 and Wings for Men in 1994.
